Get Started with Sync Plus

Sync Plus allows you to synchronize transcripts and multimedia and prepare the necessary files to deliver to your clients. Sync's intuitive and streamlined design greatly improves the DVT creation process and allows you to complete your work faster than ever.

There are two components to Sync Plus:

• the Sync Job Service (including the Sync Job Service Manager)

• the QC Workstation

Install Sync Plus

For detailed instructions on installing Sync Plus, see Install Sync Plus.

Note: IPRO recommends temporarily disabling security or antivirus software prior to beginning the installation process. Security can be reinstalled, re-enabled, and configured after install. Failure to follow the above steps may force a complete uninstall and reinstall.

Understand the Sync Job Service

The Sync Job Service is responsible for scanning the Sync Job Folder and processing new jobs. You can manage the backend processing of Sync jobs via the Sync Job Service Manager.

Understand the QC Workstation

When a new job is created, it gets added to the QC Workstation where it may be reviewed, edited, and published.
