Publish a DVT

After you create a DVT and resolve potential errors in Quality Control, you can publish the synchronized transcript to a DepoView Volume to send to your client.

Note: You can publish a DVT at any time. Completing the QC steps are not required, but QC is recommended.

Options for publishing a DVT to another file type include:

DepoView Volume
TrialDirector 6.x
DepoView for iPad
Open DVT (XML)
Text (TXT)

Note: Publishing to a DepoView format may take time. A notification will appear when the process is complete.

To publish a DVT to a different file format, follow the steps below:

Click the Publish DVT button. You can access this button from:

The Sync Plus Start Page

The ribbon bar in the Transcript tab

The Job Summary view in Job History.

The Publish DVT dialog appears. Enter information and select options for the DVT.

Choose a location on your computer for the DVT. You can type in a file path directly or navigate to your desired location with the Browse button.
Enter an output name.
Select the DepoView Volume format option.

Click Publish DVT.

You can find the new file formats for the DVT you published in the location you chose.
