Release Notes - Version 6.4
Explore NetGovern 6.4 for new features such as AI-driven Classification, Single Sign-On, and Export to Load File, as well as a simplified Compliance workflow and many other feature enhancements.
New Features
- Automated Classification of PII, PHI, and PCI: Now with AI and Machine Learning in NetGovern 6.4, you can automatically classify the following data types:
- PCI (Payment Card Industry)
- PHI (Protected Health Information)
- PII (Personally Identifiable Information)
- No more keyword searches, regex, or extensive document review. Simply choose the model, run a search, and refine the Confidence Score Range—see About Classification.
- New Compliance and Remediation Workflow
- In NetGovern 6.4, Audit Managers can:
- Run automated compliance tasks in a single interface from start to finish
- Review and automatically tag classified data on a set schedule and send it for review
- Monitor Compliance Task and Remediation Job progress and receive automated reports that they can act on
- Send Compliance Task notifications to others—see Compliance.
- Single Sign-On (SSO)
- Once your NetGovern administrator has configured version 6.4 for your organization, you can log in once and get one-click access to all the resources you need to do your job.

- Export Load Files: Exporting a production set is easier in NetGovern Version 6.4. Once you have collected the data using NetGovern eDiscovery, you can easily hand it over to your outside counsel in a format that their tools (Relativity, Summation, & Concordance) understand—see Exporting Load Files.
- Telemetry: By collecting data on how you use NetGovern Archive and NetGovern Search, we can learn more about its actual usage and make improvements to the product. However, you can always choose to opt out. To learn more about how we use your data, see Terms and Conditions of NetGovern Inc..
Other Enhancements
- Improved Highlighting: Clicking on a result takes you directly to the first highlight—see Highlighting Search Terms.
- When crawling, NetGovern now traverses the entire folder hierarchy to capture file ACLs.
- WebAccess now takes you directly to NetGovern Searchinstead of GroupWise WebViewer.
- All users can switch between Pagination and Infinite Scrolling—see Changing the Page Format.
- You can also now:
- Export multiple accounts to a single PST
- Export multiple documents to a single PDF
- Exclude attachment indexing on xml-based jobs
- Assign rights to based on groups
- Exclude certain file types from being crawled
Terminology
"Random Sampling" has been changed to "Supervisory Review" across all affected auditing functions.

The following features in NetGovern have been deprecated in Version 6.4.

Bug Fixes
The following bugs have been fixed in version 6.4:
- Migration Agent removes Retention Criteria
- Case Member does not have access to their own exported data
- Highlighting not working for Advanced SSN search
- Previous storage reports no longer appear after upgrade
- Search case not displaying users after startup
- File cache used for preview does not pick up changed documents
- Export error due to tenant ID mismatch
- AccountCleanup Tool does not support the UPN being different from email address
- Irrelevant options offered on some Search screens
- ADFS integration instructions unclear
- User selection on XML-based jobs does not return expected results
- Tags carry mistakenly from one case to the next
- Script errors sometimes appear when opening attachments
- After search times out, can still do searches, which return zero results
- Selections in Search filters re-expand the tree
- Searching groups can bring inconsistent results
- References to "eclients" create confusion
- Remediation only operating on 100 items
- Case Members do not have access to their own exported data
- Changing the visible columns does not always work
- Date formats are not always consistent.
- Search can sometimes fail if special characters are in the filename
