Use Presentation Preview
When using two monitors, after opening a case from the PRESENT Start Page, the Preview window will appear as well as the main Presentation window.

Presentation (Empty)
While it is possible to navigate a case and call up items solely from the main Presentation window via the toolbar, Preview makes navigating a case and setting up case items much easier. Whether preparing for or participating in trial, you
can use the Presentation Preview window to see what any item in your case will
look like when it is presented without having to stop and launch Presentation
mode.
Simply drag any item from the Case Explorer to the
Preview area. Click on the diagram and view the information below to learn more:
Note: When using Presentation Preview, the Preview screen uses the aspect ratio of the Presentation screen. If the Presentation screen is displayed on a 4:3 aspect ratio display - the Preview screen shows the Presentation stage at the same 4:3 aspect ratio. If you have a 16:9 aspect ratio laptop display that is connected to a 4:3 aspect projector, the Presentation Preview window on the 16:9 screen will be fixed to a 4:3 aspect ratio in order to adhere to the projector display settings.

As seen above, Presentation Preview can divided into two sections: the Case Explorer, and the Preview area.
The Case Explorer provides the following functionality:
Clicking either of the alphanumeric sort options immediately sorts the main folders in the explorer by whatever option was selected.
This button opens the Presentation Preferences dialog. This dialog is different from Present User Preferences.
To find an item, enter text included in the item's properties (e.g. Item Id., Trial Exhibit No., Exhibit No., etc.), and click the Find button. The Case Explorer will immediately filter to only show items with properties that match the text in the field.
Use this filter to see all the items in a case or only certain types of items.
Use this filter to only show items with the selected property.
All the case items are divided into several default folders. Click on the small plus button next to a folder to see the items inside. Click and drag an item from the explorer and drop it in the Preview area to make it display.
The Preview area provides the following functionality:
If this button is active, anything displayed in the Preview are will automatically appear in the main Presentation window. This is what the button looks like when it is active:
Make
real-time changes and control your live presentation entirely
from Presentation Preview. The jury sees your annotations as you
make them, views a video as you click play, etc. but never sees
the tools or controls. The Presentation Toolbar is automatically
hidden in Presentation mode as soon you enable Mirror Mode.
After setting up items in the Preview area, click this button to display the items in the Presentation window exactly how they were set up in Preview.
Note: This button is used with Mirror Mode off.
Prepare and preview on-the-fly enhancements to your
presentation on your laptop without impacting an ongoing presentation.
At the proper moment, you simply click this button to insert the
new information into the live presentation and the jury never
sees you miss a beat.
Note: The Presentation Preview screen replaces
the entire Presentation display when you click Present Preview.
(For example, if an exhibit is open in zone 2 in Presentation
mode, and you load a different exhibit in zone 1 in Presentation
Preview, when you push it over the exhibit in zone 2 will close.)
Click this button to clear out all the items, annotations, and callouts displayed in the Preview area.
Tip: If Mirror Mode
is enabled, clicking Clear
Preview
clears both the Preview area and the actual Presentation. Consider
using the Save Stages feature to
preserve the display before you click Clear
Preview.

Click this button to clear out all the items, annotations, and callouts displayed in the main Presentation window.
