Export a Case

Important: Import/Export should not be used to work offline on a Data Sync-enabled case. To work offline on a Data Sync-enabled case, bring the case data local and then sync up again when you connect to the network. For more information, see Overview: Data Sync.

In Case Manager, you can create a case and, later, archive the case using the Export Case option.

To export a case:

  1. Open Case Manager.

  2. Double-click on a case to open it.

  3. Click the Export Case button.

  4. The Export Case window appears.

  5. Click the Browse button and browse to the folder where you want the case exported. When finished, click OK.

    Important: Depending on the size of the case, the export process may take some time.

  6. Click Export.
