Saving Documents
When previewing documents that were produced using Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, and Word, you must first download them.
However, you can preview text files, image files, and PDFs without downloading them first. And you have the option of saving them if you need to view them later for further analysis during eDiscovery.
To preview certain documents, you must have the corresponding application installed on your computer. For example, if you saved an .xls file and want to preview it, you must have Microsoft Excel on your computer.
