Displaying Columns

In the Document view, these columns are shown by default: Name, Owner, Date, Size,Location, and Document ID.

  • Name: Displays the name of the document or file and the subject of a message or instant message thread.
  • Owner: The UPN-based value displaying the identity belonging to the owner of the document, file, or message.
  • Date: Displays when the document, file, or message was sent, received, or archived.
  • Size: Displays the size of the document, file, or message.
  • Document ID: The unique identifying number attributed to the document, file, or message.

You can show other columns.

How to Display Columns

  • In the Document view, position your pointer over a column heading, click the arrow and select Columns.
  • Select the columns to display in the Document view.
    • Path: Indicates where to find the document, file, or message.
    • Version: Indicates which version of the document, file, or message is displayed, if multiple versions exist.
    • Location: Displays the data source in which the document, file, or message resides.
    • Tags: Displays any tags that were applied to the document, file, or message.
    • Comment: Displays any comments that were applied to the document, file, or message.
    • PCI: Displays any document, file, or message classified as containing PCI.
    • PHI: Displays any document, file, or message classified as containing PCI.
    • PII: Displays any document, file, or message classified as containing PCI.
