Closing Cases

When your case has been reviewed and tagged, you can close the case.

How to Close an Open Case

  • In the Case Overview toolbar, click Edit Case.
  • In the Edit Case dialog box, select Closed from the Status menu.
  • The Close Date and Closed By fields are updated.
  • Click Save.

How to Close a Case from the Case Management Dashboard

  • In the Case Overview toolbar, click Case Management.
  • The Case Management dashboard displays.
  • Select the case to close and click Edit Case.
  • The Edit Case dialog box displays.
  • From the Status menu, select Closed.
  • The Close Date and Closed By fields are updated.
  • Click Save.
