The Case List Tab

The Case List tab displays all current cases and its basic parameters, such as the case name, owner, description, ID, and legal hold status. You can create new cases, and open, edit, and delete existing cases, as well as export cases to an Excel spreadsheet—see Exporting Case Lists.

A red exclamation mark indicates cases that contain an error or warning, for instance, when a case is locked because another user is working on it, the scope of the case has changed or there was a problem with the case the last time legal hold was updated.

How to Access the Case List Tab

Do one of the following:

  • In the Case Overview toolbar, click Case Management.
  • In the Case Management dashboard, select the Case List tab.

How to View Warning and Error Messages

  • In the Case List tab, hover your cursor over the exclamation point (!) icon.
  • A description of the warning or error message appears.
