Performing Multiple Searches

More than one search can be performed to dig deeper into a data set. You can have as many searches as needed as a multiple search is performed by simply creating a new Search tab which contains the same data. This lets you search on various parameters and is useful for broad searches.

A multi search allows you take to the results of one search and perform a new search on it using different parameters. This helps you spot minor differences in data that may be important for your case and is useful for experimenting with different search criteria. You can use the results of a search, create a new Search tab with it, customize the parameters, and search again. You can do this repeatedly until you find the data you are looking for.

Once you have created more searches, you can also rename them. When you no longer need the additional searches, simply delete them and keep only the relevant ones.

You can replicate the results of an existing search in a new Search tab by cloning it. This way, you take the results of a search and display the same search results as those of the search you have just replicated. The name of the search is carried over to the new Search tab which you can rename to differentiate it from the others.

IMPORTANT
If you added or deleted any searches to a case, click Save A Case before closing the case or navigating to a different case. Otherwise, the changes you made will not appear the next time you open the case.
