Deploying the Outlook Add-In

Some users in your organization may prefer to access their archives directly through Outlook. The ARCHIVE Outlook add-in provides seamless end-user access to archived items through the Outlook client, by providing direct access to the full archive mailbox using an embedded IPRO Search and Federated Search interface.

You can disable the Federated search button if you do not want end users to access it through Outlook Add-In.

There are different ways of installing the add-in, depending on the number of users you are deploying for and whether you are using desktop deployment software. If you are installing on a workstation, you will need to have admin rights and you will have to perform an interactive installation—see Interactive Installation of the ARCHIVE Add-In.

IMPORTANT
If you have Outlook 2016 64-bit running on 64-bit operating systems, the .Net Framework 4.5 Client Profile must be installed before installing the ARCHIVE Outlook add-in.
NOTE
If you are using Outlook 2007 or 2010, consult IPRO for prerequisites specific to these earlier versions of Outlook.
