About Roles

The role that a user has in NetGovern Search determines their user rights. That is, your users will have access to certain features in NetGovern Search and not others. This alleviates system administration and security concerns around unauthorized data access. The various roles are:

Users Logging in to NetGovern Search

When a user logs in to NetGovern Search, they are prompted to proceed as a Manager, , or End user. The role that a user chooses determines which NetGovern Search features are available to them.

It is possible for a user to be a case manager and reviewer, but not for the same case. If this is the situation, the user must choose which role they will play in eDiscovery.
